Invisible Algorithms, Visible Harm
AI promises fairness, neutrality, and efficiency. But beneath that sheen, many of the world’s most widely used algorithms are quietly reinforcing the very inequalities they claim to eliminate. From hiring and healthcare to housing and credit, systems powered by artificial intelligence are making life-altering decisions—often with embedded biases inherited from the past.
